Renting The Venue for Other Events
Victorian Courtyard - 75 guests maximum. We love hosting receptions in this spacious area. We typically host standing events in the form of appetizers and drinks.
Seated events in a tent setting are comfortably suited for 45 guests with round tables. There are many options for this area as tents can be set up anywhere, tables, musicians, catering and more can all be arranged.
Seated Events Indoors - 20 guests maximum. We have a preferred vendors list of caterers, personal chefs, rentals and anything else you may need.
Hughson Hall can host parties inside for up to 30 guests (standing/cocktail) Please note that we do have enough chairs for those guests who would like to sit down. From experience, guests prefer an informal stand up arrangement because it gives them the opportunity to mingle and they always enjoy it tremendously.
We also have 2 beautiful front parlors and one connecting to the formal dining room. The large sunroom overlooks the back Victorian gardens and courtyard.
Event rental cannot begin earlier than 12:30 pm due to breakfast and checkout of our overnight guests. All events must conclude no later than 10:00 p.m. Cleanup and tear down must be complete by 11 p.m.
Any setup and teardown not provided by Hughson Hall must occur within your rental period. This includes any decorating you are planning on doing. No tours of the upstairs rooms will be available during your event.
Rates:
$200.00 for 1st hour (plus HST )
$100.00 for every consecutive hour up to 6 hours (plus HST)
Anything over 6 hours - $1500.00 (plus HST)
Service charges will apply to all venue rentals.
